So, I did almost 2hrs at the gym today - which I’m superbly pleased about! Sundays seem to be my time to excel with my fitness, mainly because I have more time!
Anyway, I thought I’d tell you about my two biggest fears at the gym. Two of the machines at the gym have become my nemesis! I openly admit to being scared of them!
I know, plain stupid! Bonkers! Being afraid of machines, but aye that’s how it is. The machines are the “CrossTrainer”
and the other is the “Stepper”
I kinna know how this happened. At my gym, when you first sign up, you have to go through an induction with a qualified instructor who takes you around all the machines and shows you how to use them without killing yourself!
So, during my induction 2 years ago - yes this fear has been with me for 2 years! - I failed miserably on these two machines. I didn’t have the strength or the fitness to get the machines going and ever since then I’ve avoided these two like the plague. I’ve gone on and mastered other machines and found my confidence on them, but these two…
I suppose in posting this, I’m calling myself out! My exercise goal is to master the Crosstrainer and the Stepper! And you watch, I will!
